An antique Georgian 10 karat gold mourning ring.
With braided locks of hair set under a curved crystal bezel.
The gold's color leans toward rose gold in the color spectrum.
Inscribed to the interior "Anna Hill / obt 18 dec. / d. 1799 Oct. 2".

It is in overall good to fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is significant scratching to the glass bezel. There are slight tears to the top of the bezel setting. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Unmarked for gold fineness. Professionally tests at 10k. (Possibly 12k as many of these rings are.)
