George Sawyer Mokume White Gold & SS W/ Sapphire & Diamonds Symmetry Ring
About the Item
A striking George Sawyer symmetry* wedding band in the traditional Mokume style. This band features 1.5 mm pink sapphires .35 ct & .36 ct diamonds, in a repeating pattern of 3 diamonds/2 sapphires, with 14 K White Gold and Sterling Silver. The Style Number is CF65DJ1.5. Interior stamp reads "14K & Ster GS ©B 4/10". The ring is size 6.5.
After studying the ancient Japanese art of folded and layered metal techniques known as Mokume, Mr. Sawyer created his own internationally recognized complex signature style from his Minneapolis, Minnesota studio. His use of color and pattern creates one-of-a-kind, continuous, seamless bands that reflect his passion for jewelry as art.
*Symmetry bands reflect the mind's natural instinct to search for patterns. The center line of a symmetry channel creates a beautiful variant in the pattern work . The symmetrical pattern radiates from the stones, highlighting both pattern and stone.
