Cabochon cut natural star sapphire, 3.40ct (7.96 x 6.35 x 5.25mm), dark blue color, lightly included, good cut, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin, no treatments, distinct 6-ray star when viewed under a pinpoint light source, good cut. Ten full cut diamonds, total weight approx. 0.20ct, G-H/VS-SI qualities, good cuts, accented with six baguette cut diamonds, total weight approx. 0.25ct, G-H/VS qualities, good cuts. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.45 carats. The deep blue natural star sapphire lights up under a direct light source or natural sunlight with a distinct six point star. The ring makes a nice statement on the hand, ideal for wear as an alternative engagement ring or right hand ring for everyday wear.
