A luminous light pink 12 x 16 mm oval cabochon tourmaline is set in a signature horizontal "cupped bezel with spiral bun and jawan" ancient-inspired handmade setting atop a matte-finish tapered shank, currently sized 7.5, resizable. This is a really nice stone, in a great color, sure to please. Wonderful handwork accents subtlety complement. You won't be disappointed.

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
