A beautiful 7mm round cabochon emerald is surrounded by concentric twist and straight wire circles in this ancient-inspired Steven Battelle high carat gold design. The substantial handmade shank is ornamented similarly to complement the bezel. This ring is currently sized 6.5. It would be difficult to resize without losing a portion of the design.

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age.
