Steven Battelle 18.1 Carats Cabochon Aquamarine Oxidized Sterling 18K Gold Ring
About the Item
A translucent sea blue 16 mm cushion aquamarine cabochon is held in a "4 point with triple jawan" 18K gold bezel atop an oxidized flat hammered sterling silver shank in this design. Two flat contrasting 18K gold strips accent the join. If, for some reason, a non-oxidized shank was preferred, the black could be easily polished off. When worn, most of the shank is not seen and all that is visible is the aqua and gold. This ring is currently sized 7.5. It is resizable by your local jeweler. Very comfortable and a great look for a really good price!

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
