About the Item
A nice blue, somewhat triangular and irregular 18 x 22 mm rose-cut faceted aquamarine is set in a hammered and textured simple 18K gold bezel atop a wide oxidized organically textured sterling silver band in this design. The natural contours and internal lighting of the stone is complemented by the forged look of shank and bezel. This ring is currently sized 7. It is somewhat difficult to resize. Very unique, noticeable and eye-catching!

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age.
