About the Item
A slightly tumbled 11 x 26 mm roughly rectangular chunk of crystalline aquamarine is set within an ancient-inspired handmade "4-point" line textured 18K gold bezel atop a hammered sterling shank to create a unique and somewhat roughly hewn artisanal design. Nicely contrasting blues of the stone with rich yellows of the gold. This ring is currently sized 7, and is resizable by your local jeweler. A treasure from nature perfect in all its imperfections, just as we are!

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
