About the Item
A 20 mm trillium cabochon of blue green Indicolite tourmaline is embraced by 3 carved prongs atop a tapered 18K shank attached with a "V" motif.
This is one of the rarer and more sought after shades of the many colors of tourmaline. A nice and elegant statement. Note: there is a small, almost unnoticeable chip at one of the corners of the stone. It doesn't really detract from the piece, but we have discounted the price heavily due to this flaw.

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age.
