About the Item
A unique silhouette for this ring designed by architect-designer Michel Tortel for QITTERI to let the light breathe. The two diamonds of different colours, placed under the indigolite tourmaline, illuminate this exceptional stone by transpa-rence.
The 2.52 ct indigolite tourmaline, whose colour evokes that of turquoise lagoons, has a VS+ purity. It comes from a deposit in Afghanistan. Its perfect emerald cut is 11.7 x 6.3 x 3.1 mm. It is accompanied by two diamonds, one of H colour for 0.26 carats in brilliant cut princess size 3.3 x 3.35 x 2.56 mm of VS1 clarity and another one of T colour for 0.24 carats in brilliant cut princess size 3.2 x 3.42 x 2.54 mm of VVS2 clarity.
Set in 7.25 grams of 18 karat white rhodium-plated gold, the design was conceived to highlight the colours of the main gem.
The design is inspired by architecture and history and is designed to let the light breathe and to allow it to pass through the material. The indigolite tourmaline, the main stone, is suspended, set at its ends. It is accompanied by diamonds ideally placed underneath, illuminating it in transparency.
A simple drawing, sublimated by a design with pure and iconic lines allowing the stone to be seen from all sides and thus revealing its play of colour and light.
This model, like its main stone, is unique. It can be adjusted for sizes not too far from 54 which is its current size.
This ring can be worn daily or for evenings and cocktails.
The beauty of its stones, its design and its originality will always attract the eye. It will also be a subject of daily contemplation depending on the different hours and lights of the day.
