About the Item
The Bull and Bullfighter Ring is the fourth in Wendy Brandes's seven-ring Maneater series, a collection that upends assumptions about power. Each Maneater ring features a triumphant figure on top, with a tiny man tucked away inside of the band. In this case, a 18K rose gold bull is the conqueror, presiding over a yellow gold and diamond stadium. Inside the ring, an 18K white gold matador stands in defeat, with his back to the viewer and his cape swirling around him. This intricate design took artisans many months to complete and is a true one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art -- it will never to be reproduced.
