Masterpiece by two of the prestigious french silversmiths, Fabulous set, for the richness of its decoration, not only for its form and sculpting, but also for the multi-coloured which is itself rare. Very high quality work, all vermeil inside and outside. The set includes a Coffee pot, a Tea pot, a Sugar bowl and creamer. No monogrammed. Hallmarks : Head of Minerve 1 st titre for 950/1000 French Sterling Silver guarantee. Two Prestigious French Silversmiths : Cardeilhac The Maison Cardeilhac has exhibited and won medals in most exhibitions of the XIX th century. It is a cutler who became one the most important french manufacturing-silversmiths of all types of cutlery rich and silverware. Gold Medal "class cutlery", Universal Exhibition of 1878 , Silver medal in the section "silverware", Universal Exhibition of 1889 Bronze medal for these works fine cutlery, Damas steel. Medal "First Class", Universal Exhibition of 1855, Grand prize in the section "cutlery", Universal Exhibition of 1889... Christofle was active august 1, 1832 The Maison Christofle's influence on french silver-making in XIXth century inestimable, an exhibitor and jury member for most of the universal exhibitions, they made and wrote history at the same time.
