About the Item
This champagne cover/glacette belongs to the collection: works of art. The oeuvre was realized by a Florentine artist who wanted to celebrate the well-known Chrysler building.
The cover has been completely handcrafted by Marco Fedi, a Florentine master goldsmith. The production process took several months and the techniques used are overhang and chasing. The core value of the product is given by its artistic perfection. Indeed, the artist worked a single piece of silver and the complexity of the task was increased by the fact that the reverse side is missing. It is also important to underline the three-dimensional effect realized in chiseling all the components.

Artist information:
Marco Fedi started his career in the ‘80s, working for the most prestigious workshops in Florence. During the years, he worked for Tiffany, Bulgari, Christofle and Cartier. Today, he is collaborating with K-OVER for the projects K-over Memories and K-over Design.
Technical features:
K-OVER is the new brand of P.M.P Firenze, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the silverware industry. Working in this market for such a long period, enabled us to develop a completely new product: a modern glacette. Indeed, our covers can maintain your precious bottles of champagne chilled. The cover can be used as many times as you want: by unscrewing the cap at its bottom, it is possible to change the champagne. All covers are new and have been only exhibited in public events. Covers are suitable for champenoise bottles such as: Moët Et Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Cristal, Pol Roger, Piper-Heidsieck, Perrier Jouët, Taittinger, Mumm, Ferrari, Berlucchi.
All our champagne covers are produced in solid silver 999/°°. The usage of pure material is a novelty, as a matter of fact, silverware is usually produced in sterling silver. Our choice can be explained by three reasons. Firstly, we want to provide a high valuable product to our customers. Secondly, pure silver is hard to oxidise, so that it is easier to be cleaned. Last but not least, silver has an antibacterial property which make it safe.
