About the Item

Silver Kuksa – Kautokeino, Norway Juhls Design A rare and striking silver kuksa handcrafted by Juhls, the renowned silversmith and jewelry designer based in Kautokeino, northern Norway. This large and beautifully detailed piece truly stands out: approximately 22 cm wide, 9.5 cm deep, and about 8 cm high. Weight: 198 grams. Made from high-quality 925 sterling silver, fully hallmarked. The kuksa is in excellent condition; the silver has developed a light, natural tarnish that enhances the fine details and gives it a distinguished, aged appearance. It has not been polished, as the subtle patina adds to its authentic character. These silver kuksas are exceptionally rare and entirely handcrafted, making each piece unique. The decorative elements gently chime when the kuksa is moved or used, adding a charming and almost ceremonial quality to the experience. Juhls Design is one of Norway’s most respected silversmith studios, known for blending traditional Sámi craftsmanship with modern Scandinavian design. This kuksa is a stunning example of their artistry – a distinctive and valuable addition to any collection, an extraordinary gift, or an elegant interior accent.
