Antique Diamond and Pearl Fob Watch, 18 Karat Gold, Guilloche Enamel
About the Item
You can't help but be captivated by this truly spectacular antique Art Nouveau era, 18kt gold and Rose cut diamond and Pearl fob watch.
A rich 18kt yellow gold case and bow with a creamy white enamel face with blue Arabic numerals and gold and silver detailing.
The reverse of the fob watch is perfectly beautiful with fine deep sky blue Guilloche enamel, this has further gold enamel detailing.
To the centre there is a single rose cut diamond and the watch is adorned with a halo of creamy seed pearls to the outer rim.
It is a top wind, pin set watch.
It has a Swiss made movement, and Swiss marks.
A truly stunning piece, could also be worn as a pendant.
This beautifully crafted watch is currently running and is the perfect example of functional works of art in fine jewellery.

Early 20th century, Art Nouveau era, c1900s, Swiss marks for 18ct gold, Head of Helvetia.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, running and ticking, light surface wear commensurate with age and use, a few small areas of gold enamel missing from the reverse, glazing is a later replacement and is not original.
