The T-bar is hallmarked with the 9 ct gold fineness mark (9.375), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the maker's mark (JM). The Albert chain incorporates forty-eight impressive uniformed asymmetrical conjoined links; this style of link is unusual and highly desirable. The central ring loop link from which a hallmarked T-bar suspends further features a small chain extension; the extension consists of six links identical to the aforementioned chain. The chain is fitted to one end with a hallmarked swivel clasp; the other bears a plain ring loop. The chain is hallmarked to the clasp and T-bar with the 9k gold mark (9C). The Albert chain incorporates a total of fifty-four hallmarked plain curb style links, in a barrel link design. The connecting links of the chain are comprised of fifty-two circular links bearing a faceted finish. The central ring loop link from which a hallmarked T-bar suspends further features a small chain extension; the extension consists of two faceted links and three curb links, in addition to plain round links. The chain is fitted to either end with a hallmarked swivel clasp.
