Gruen Watch Company is an old Swiss house famous for making watches on many different levels. They even produced the Rolex Prince for Rolex. Their watches are dependable, easy to service and beautiful. This example is in excellent condition with a warm natural patina on the dial.
The dial on this unique watch was produced by Stern Freres. In the early 1930's Stern bought The Patek Philippe Watch Company out of bankruptcy and the Stern Family still own Patek Philippe today. We can thank them for saving company in the darkest hours of the depression.
This watch is supplied with a vintage pocket watch chain so you can wear as soon as it arrives.
