Regency Miniature Mahogany Breakfast Table
Located in Bedfordshire, GB
An exceptional Quality Regency Period Miniature mahogany centre, or breakfast table, having superbly figured circular tilting top over turned central column and elegant four splay base, retaining original brass castors.
Sometimes there is debate as to the original purpose of antique miniature furniture. There was also some miniature furniture of a particular scale which would have been made as dolls house furniture...

Liberty's London Camel Sculpture with Lovely Aged Leather on Hand Carved Wood
Located in Pulborough, GB
We are excited to present this camel sculpture with lovely aged leather on hand-carved wood.
It has been made for Liberty's in London.
This full-grown and very realistic dromedary or camel has both great aesthetic and decretive value.
They have been made for the kids of the wealthy people that shopped by Liberty's.
Underneath the leather, the hide is a very well-carved wooden sculpture which is why the sizeable camel has such realistic features.
It is a very realistic sculpture and a good size, it also has the original leather which makes it even rarer.

Regency Mahogany Childs Chest of Drawers
Located in Bedfordshire, GB
A delightful regency period mahogany childs chest, having well figured top over two short and three long drawers with replacement brass knobs, raised on original splayed feet with elegant shaped apron.
Childrens furniture is generally found much less often rarer than its full size and scale counterparts for many reasons, the most obvious of which being that there was simply far less of these effective scale models produced.
Generally childrens furniture was made to the same specifications, but on a smaller scale, for the children of wealthy families to have and to use.
This childs chest is a nice one, good quality and constructed from good, well figured timbers. The brass knobs are later replacements, it would probably have had turned wooden ones originally, however these brass ones work rather well and sit very attractively.
From a purely practical perspective it is the perfect size to be used in a whole host of different spaces around the home, but would make an excellent modern day coffee table type item alongside a chair, or sofa.
As with all items which we offer for sale this childs chest of drawers...
