A Classic Los Angeles Home

With the Classic Los Angeles Home my approach was to take a a formal structure, which Georgian houses are, and soften it. Views that incorporate the lush hills and trees of homes around, give the impression that this three-acre property lies in a far more vast parkland. Inside, colors are paled and aged in drwing-room shades of gold, yellow and grey. These accents come together to portray a house that feels as though it were designed by an architect of the 1920s or 1930s, with all the Revival-style charm and glamor that would be added in that period.
