Contact us for a personalized shipping quote. About the Artist: Eric James Bransby was a celebrated muralist, painter, illustrator, and educator. Bransby studied at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, where he trained under influential artists such as Thomas Hart Benton, Jean Charlot, Boardman Robinson, and Josef Albers. He furthered his studies at the prestigious Yale School of Fine Art. Throughout his career, Bransby created notable murals, including the Rockhurst Library Triptych at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and works at Brigham Young University, Colorado College, and the Air Force Academy. A lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, Bransby was a key member of the National Society of Mural Painters. He was recognized for his artistic achievements with a Doctorate of Humane Letters from the University of Colorado in 1997 and a Lifetime Achievement Medal from the Colorado College Alumni Association in 1998. Bransby’s works continue to be celebrated for their vivid use of color and powerful depictions of American life and landscapes.
