"Raphaëlle Pia was born in the Loire, from immigrant parents of the Spanish Civil War. After a year at the Beaux-Arts in Grenoble, JM Pirot workshop, she received training at the centre for art, Claude Bernard. She came to Paris where she settled. During the first year of her profession, she studied at the Beaux-Arts in Paris in the Couturier studio. She paints regularly. First in high school, she will be promoted in 1985 at Auguste Renoir High School of Graphic Arts in Paris, where she will teach until 2002. Since she devotes herself to painting alone.
Painting for Raphaëlle Pia is like playing with the different parts of a toy as a child would. The other is the special encounter with a moment of nature like the forest. When the "motive" triggers the emotion, as soon as it arrives the grid of reading constructed as and when its experiments. "

Raphaelle Pia
Raphaëlle Pia was born in the Loire to immigrant parents of the Spanish Civil War.
