About the Item
Among my gestural drawings there is a special series. It's called «Image Meditation». Before I start drawing, I think of a word, close my eyes and try to feel the vibration of this word. In this work, I drew the word «Underneath» Our earth is filled with magic and power. We can feel it if we direct our attention to our feet. Attention descends lower and lower and gradually approaches the magical white light. We can draw strength from the depths of the earth.
Artwork is done in ink and ocher pastel on thick white paper.

The process of spontaneous drawing is a kind of magic that turns an invisible impulse into a reflection on paper. She is driven by the desire to open the door little by little to the sensual living reality of this world. She lives, learns and works in Lithuania (Vilnius) since 2012. Svetlana studied at the Art Academy in Vilnius at the Department of Ceramics. In 2022, her individual exhibition of ceramics "Inside a Dream" was held at the street branch of the Academy of Arts in Vilnius.
