About the Item
Wind Chill was inspired by a visit to Lake Huron in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The beach is located west of DeTour Village, Michigan. The painting is soft pastel on sanded paper. Paintings are original only and no reproductions are made. Most landscapes are painted on site (en plein air) and finished in the artist’s Saline, Michigan studio. Bob Palmerton has competed in many national and regional pastel painting competitions and has participated in the Ann Arbor State Street Art Fair among other fine art shows. He has taught landscape painting through his workshops and local art centers.
