A magnificent Orientalist watercolor/gouache depicting a market scene. The work has incredible details and is in very fine condition. Signed lower left along with Roma. It is housed under conservation glass in what appears to be the original Italian Roccoco style reticulated gold frame. This work is truly one of the Artist's finest Orientalist examples that has come onto the marketplace and is Museum worthy. Framed size is 30.5 x 39.5 inches Image size is 21.5 x 30 inches Provenance: Private Collection Green Bay, WI. acquired in 2004 from prior owner where it had been in their collection for the previous 15-20 years.
