Emile Yung (June 6th, 1854 ? February 2nd, 1918) was a Swiss biologist.
He made several research trips at the Roscoff marine biology station (north of Brittany, France).
He led different experiments on animals development. He is known for his studies on the influence of the environment on the development of tadpoles.
His portrait painted by Ferdinand Hodler in 1890 is located in the Musée Jenish, in Vevey (Switzerland).
