John W. Dunn was a Scottish- American painter born in Washington, D.C. in 1891. He died in 1975 at the age of 84.
He often painted horses, and his entry at the 1932 Olympics was entitled Polo. His work was featured in the painting event of the art competition at the 1932 Summer Olympics. He primarily worked in watercolors.
