The image is characterized by fine lines with some cross-hatching over a wash mono-chromatic background. Published: The Stories of John Cheever, interior illustration, 1985 Not signed. Steven Stroud was a major illustrator with clients such as Pepsi Cola, General Electric, UPS, Omega Engineering and the Department of Defense. He was past president of The Society of Illustrators. from 1997-1998.
