A charming early 20th Century watercolour showing a nun walking through the buildings of an old school house. The sun is shining down onto the red tiled roofs and casting shafting shadows on the cobbles at the nun's feet. The artist has signed and dated to the lower left corner. The painting has been presented in a gilt frame with egg and dart molding and lamb's tongue strapwork. The frame is finished with a gold mount and glazing. On wove.
