A fine watercolour study by the British artist Walter Fryer Stocks, depicting the Culham Bridge over the River Thames. Culham Bridge was built of stone between 1416 and 1422 to replace an ancient ford called Culham Hythe. The bridge is currently classified as an ancient monument. Inscribed in graphite to the reverse with the artist's name and location. On drawing board.
