Williams Pear 5, is an original still life illustration from Francesca’s Produce Series. The work is a trio of continuous line drawings, all created using a calligraphers nib and dipping ink.
Francesca Henderson is an illustration artist based in North East London. She uses a traditional nib and dipping ink to create flowing, almost liquid, continuous line drawings. Her works are primarily figurative with the exception of her ‘Produce Series’ that puts the focus on her second love, food. As a passionate grower and cook, she has a profound respect for the natural process; this respect is captured in the organic forms of her work. Each of her works are one of a kind originals with no further reproductions.
