About the Item
Part of my Message in a Bottle series, exploring the nature of self and lineage, as well as the themes of isolation, connection and love recurrent in the letters of my late father and my grandfather. The Take Me Out of the Blue sub-series incorporates the feelings, words and passions, along with the letters and postcards from my grandfather (whom I never met) to his wife while stationed in Europe as a soldier during WW1. He was distraught and begging for more letters to "take me out of the blue."
