Eric Zener (b. 1966, Astoria, OR) completed his BA in 1988 at the University of California, Santa Barbara. As an artist he has been engaged in a quest to observe and understand the inner experience of human beings. Water has served as a primary metaphor for such experience. For Zener, “the lone figure immersed in water illustrates the constant force and changing tides in our lives. Above the surface we may appear to be together and unaffected, however below the surface, we are in a constant state of transformation and illumination.”
Zener’s work has been shown in the United States and internationally since 1988. He has had numerous solo exhibitions and been represented in many group shows in New York City. He has enjoyed a presence at any number of international art fairs, including Art Miami, Art Basel Miami, Art Chicago, the Seattle Art Fair, the Dallas Art Fair, and the San Francisco Art Fair. Multiple publications have reviewed his work. Some of these are ARTnews, The London Times, The Boston Globe, International Artist, and Art and Antiques. His work has been acquired by a variety of personal, corporate, and public collectors.

Eric Zener
Eric Zener is a self-taught Photorealist artist recognized for his figure paintings of lone subjects often submerged in swimming pools.
Zener employs water as a metaphorical tool to express renewal and personal transformation. It speaks to the collective desire in all of us to retreat from the noise of the world, challenging the shallow, surface-level questions and concerns that frame our daily lives. Additionally, Zener works across a broad spectrum of materials, including paint, silver leaf, and resin, to create texture, depth, and dimensionality in his work.
Zener’s work has been exhibited in the United States, and internationally, for over 25 years. His solo exhibition history has largely been with his long-standing dealers in San Francisco and New York. Additionally, Zener has had numerous shows in Asia, Australia and Europe. Eric’s work has been featured and reviewed extensively in art magazines and other publications. Apart from gallery representation his work has also been included in museum shows and international residency programs.

Robert Mars’ graphic compositions and rich colors provide an ideal medium in which to explore his fascination with the Golden Age of American popular culture and the icons of the 1950’s and 60’s. A graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York, his artwork was selected for the Absolut Vodka Blank campaign alongside Damien Hirst, and his largest sized piece to date was acquired by Philip Morris/Altria for their corporate headquarters in Virginia. In 2015 Mars was chosen for the cover of Neiman Marcus’ May Book, while CocaCola purchased several existing works and ordered commissions for a world tour celebrating the 100-year anniversary of their trademark bottle shape, in which his artwork was spotlighted. James Verbicky (b. 1973) is a contemporary painter and mixed media artist who lived the majority of his early life in British Columbia before immigrating to the United States in the early 2000s. He struggled with legal status for many years before finally being awarded the ‘Extraordinary Ability’ Green card due to his extensive involvement with a wide range of museums, galleries, publications, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic endeavors. In 2008, his work was selected for a 110 year-old juried exhibition at the Louvre with the Societie Nationale des Beaux-Arts.
Shortly after his exhibition in Paris, James found inspiration among the magazine vendors along the Seine, Verbicky at which point he began creating media paintings. These complex and sculptural mixed media artworks became his vessels for communicating about a society oversaturated by media.
