About the Item
Broken dreams. War diary from the Ukrainian shelter.
This collection is dedicated to the days which I was spending during the war in Ukraine. I can’t say much, because when you are inside the situation, it is very difficult to realize what is really happening and you can not speak about it loudly. Every day merges into one day. You do not know what time or what date is it today, but you know exactly number of war days. I have expressed my feelings on paper and have put the words from the news into drawings of memories that are fixed in my memory like flashbacks.Day 49

The principle of Talion says that a committed crime is equivalent to a symmetrical punishment . An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth... The material talion means that when you hurt somebody you get the exact same punishment (for example, if you hurt physically you get the physical punishment)The symbolic Talion means when you do something bad you get the punishment with the help of an idea. Where is the line between Christ's forgiveness and response aggression towards the enemy who is coming to kill and rape on your land? We are filled with love for our neighbors and aggression towards the enemy.
