Mixed media on canvas
I am interested in nature as inspiration trigger of my artistic process. The techniques I work with are woodcut, oil, charcoal and collage. I have studied with classic teachers who introduced me to these disciplines, and using these techniques as starting point I intend to be contemporary. I use arbitrary colors that come from nature and play with them in dialogue with shapes and textures. When I find what I want to create, I break, assemble, break again and overlap the materials and in this way, I give life to each work as a unique artwork. I am a mother of three, and when thinking about their future, I am convinced the alternative lies on the care of nature.
