About the Item
Marcia Wise’s “Stoneybrook” is a small, 24 x 12 inch mixed media painting on board with colors ranging from deep greens, magentas, blues, oranges, pinks and yellows. Acrylic paint and pastels are the mediums. This board was first roughed-up with sandpaper to produce a highly textural surface, and mark-making was used by Wise to achieve the color placement and effects desired. This piece is 24 inches long by 12 inches wide with a 1 inch cradle on the sides. Sides are painted light blue, it is unframed and signed on the back by the artist.
