Painter and freehand artist with genuine artistic passion and dedication, Michael explores in this series of one-line drawings the power of his subconscious. What at a first glance seems to be abstract compositions, reveals happy, enthusiasm and dynamic scenes where several figures evolve and invite the viewer to join them. The artist is guided by the way he sees the world around him, letting all this positive energy being translated into paper.
Michael’s curiosity on new techniques and fascination with colors and forms lead him to find a way to make his drawings alive and as vibrant as the scenes they represent. Their transformation into light “tableaux” with intense colors allows us to penetrate the artist’s world and join him into the dance.
“Drawings to Lights” demonstrate the artist’s ability to, through curiosity, capture and translate into two very different mediums his own personal space. His technical mastery allows him to simplify the drawing to just show the essential which allows its transformation.
