About the Item
This mixed media painting was inspired by the textures and colours of walls in Moroccan medinas. It is a three dimensional piece, created with my old aluminium paint tubes, around which I built an interesting surface filled with cracks and texture. I was interested in the contrast between the rough surface of the border and the smooth paint in the center.
