Edition of 245 copies including original hand-colored illustrations by Léon Lebègue. Copy on vergé à la forme des papeteries d'Arches with each illustration reproduced in colour and on a separate sheet in b/w. Each chapter begins with a decorated hand letter. Super copy in perfect conditions with a fine binding.
From the press of Charles Carrington, notorious publisher of erotic literature. The volume is illustrated in the style of a medieval manuscript. Copy in perfect conditions. Original contemporary hard cover brown leather with golden decorations on plates and on spine. Fine decoration with leaves and emblem on front cover. Letters are engraved in a gothic style just as the internal pages of the book.
