The artist about this painting he made:
The growing of young men/ boys is a big inspiration for me. I myself ones was a growing up boy. Sometimes I loved everything about myself and sometimes I thought everything about me was terrible. I think almost everyone will remember such moments! This painting is about a moment that you think ' Mm, pretty good, isn't it?' The boy is looking to the viewer 'you', and asking for a little confirmation and maybe invites you for a little more.. .
Davids' painting 'Dare to Dream' from July 2022 received a fantastic review on 1stDibs from New York curator Brooke Wise. She compared the work to the great artist David Hockney. You can read what she says about it with the image.
The painting is painted on a canvas 100 x 100 cm, with frame it measures 115 x 115 cm. ( Frame is included)

David van der Linden
David van der Linden is born in the south of Holland. He studied art at the 'Classical Academy of Arts' in Groningen. During his study h weent for a Scholarship to St Petersburg where he studied at the' Imperial Academy of Arts' in the 'Repin Workshop'. After his graduation in 2019 his paintings all where sold, so a good start for him as an artist. In the first year (before Covid ended the art fairs) his work was on ' The Affordable Art Fair' in Amsterdam. His work was published in 2020 en 2021 in 'Your Daily Male Calendar'. David van der Linden had exhibitions: Groningen 2019 'Pictura' Nuenen, 2019, 2020, 2021 Galerie Bonnard
Amsterdam, 2019, 2020 Affordable Art Fair His paintings so far are sold worldwide and part of collections in the USA, Australia, Germany, Netherlands, UK, Belgium.
