Victorian style Street Scene with Victorian Figures Framed Oil Painting.
A typical scene from Deborah Jones depicting an Art Gallery with figures milling about the street in Victorian Costume, charming and well observed.
With a keen interest in Victorian fashion and collectables, Deborah began her career selling paintings from the railings in Hyde Park. She had a love of travel, both for business and pleasure, which has led her to exhibit work in the USA and to walk the Great Wall of China. Her great love however is painting; she had an enviable collection of sketchbooks that pay tribute to her original style that comes partly from reality and partly from her imagination. Deborah spent a lifetime painting and collecting props, books, dolls, bears and items of bric-a-brac, which was used as a constant source of inspiration.
