About the Item

Frank Hill is a professional artist living and working in North Norfolk. He studied art at Waltham Forest School of Art and later at St Martins School of Art. Frank’s professional career included employment with various advertising agencies and commercial studios as a designer and illustrator, later becoming self-employed as a freelance illustrator working for both advertising and publishing clients. Over the course of his long career Frank has illustrated many children's and educational books, including Enid Blyton’s ‘The Famous Five’. Frank was elected Fellow by the prestigious Royal Society of Arts This piece titled 'Spring Dining' was created using oil on board and is in a modern, white wooden frame.
