Included in the project “Dreams” - 2019, “Solar Room” revolves around the concepts of inner tension, reverie and lucid dreaming. The composition involves a teenager placed in an undefined environment, accentuated with a combination of vibrant brushing and saturated colours. In this instance, the artist has focused on texture and materiality, creating a chromatic range that is highlighted by the contrast of the used colours themselves. This portrait was executed in a “alla prima” technique being only partially detailed with a slightly grotesque but mysterious aspect.
