This is consistently reflected by images of beautiful women interacting with skeletons, gargoyles and demons..
A fully mixed media work, the painting depicts a group of dancing skeletons, all holding hands with the exception of one who has fallen and cowers on the rocks. Another skeleton can be seen playing the violin on the mountain side, providing the music for the dance.
An original oil painting on panel, executed c.1938, the painting resides within the original artists frame.
