About the Artist
Artist Mark Cudd creates monochromatic portraits that explore the emotional layers of memory and the human experience. “My work should remind you of something,” says Mark. Primarily self-taught, Mark draws from 20th-century photography—old family albums, found images, and his own snapshots—to shape stories that feel both familiar and imagined. His process blends multiple techniques and styles within a single image, giving each piece a distinct rhythm and psychological depth.
