About the Item
We are please to announce that we are now representing the Pop Art cowboy and cowgirl paintings of artist Matt Straub. We at the gallery have been following his career and have been excited about his POP Western paintings for more than a decade and are thrilled to be representing his art at our gallery.
Straub's paintings consist of classic Western images of cowboys, cowgirls, and horses of the American West painted in his unique contemporary style. He references classic Hollywood Westerns, Pulp novel covers and Vintage Comics to convey the romance of the American West. His use of a POP art style combined with an abstract expressionist painting technique create exciting paintings that have delighted collectors world wide.
