About the Item
I wake up in the morning, open Facebook, read the news... and when the hell will I finally wake up from this nightmare...In creating this piece, I sought to bridge the classic with the contemporary, touching on themes of protection and introspection. The subtle interplay of light and shadow across the figure and her feline companions exudes a sense of calm vigilance.
The rich texture of acrylics on canvas provides a depth.
For texture on the primed canvas before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then sanded for smoothness. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. Finish - satin varnish. The ends are painted in the background color. Series "Life in Avatar". Created on and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. Painting is packed very carefully in cardboard box with layers of bubble wrap to protect it. Artwork is signed and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Name: Natalia Bagatska. Born: 1967, Horodyshche, Ukraine. Lives and works in Kyiv. She graduated from the University of Technology and Design in "clothing design" specialty. Profession: artist. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Specialization: acrylic painting. Style: hyperrealism, photorealism, contemporary realism. Historical techniques of oil painting, embodied in acrylic paints. Subjects: Still lifes, nature, environment, people. Has more than 30 group and 4 personal exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. The works are presented in various printed publications, in particular "Kyiv in art", Italian magazine "Hyperrealism", "Artbox Project Basel.
