Artist Tom Manziano shows a woman walking toward an unoccupied beachfront carrying a tote bag and a sunhat in one hand. The sun shines brightly above the vacant coast casting defined shadows on soft gray sands. "The woman here must be thinking, 'Am I dreaming and this is my private beach? Or have I just arrived first? Well, either way, it shall be mine for a little while,'" says Tom. "The prettiest aspect of this painting is dependent on the viewer. It could be the surf, the figure, or the day. But obviously, all are beautiful and make for a wonderful composition to enjoy, dream or not."

About the Artist
Artist Tom Manziano transports us to delightful moments in Florida with his vivid coastal and golf inspired paintings. As a retired member of the Professional Golfers' Association, as well as a self-taught artist, Tom found a way to unite his passions with the goal of making people smile. "In my mid-forties, I decided to follow my passion for art and eagerly began pursuing a second career as an artist," explains Tom. "My paintings all share an emphasis on rich and vibrant color, fine brushwork, strong light and shadow." Tom enjoys listening to soft music, including Father John Misty, The Growlers and Arvo Part to inspire his creative process. In his free time, he golfs, plays guitar, writes and hikes, along with other health conscious activities. Tom regularly exhibits his artwork in Florida.
