Mid 20th Century French drawing of Fishermen bringing in their catch. The work is unsigned but annotated to the back of the paper 'Mars 70, Port de Nice'. Presented in a plain dark wood frame with mount under glass.
A very charming crayon drawing of a group of fishermen in their boat emptying their nets and arranging their catch. They are wearing characteristic berets and are dressed in colourful clothing. The artist has captured all the detail of the scene, the items on the boat, the stone of the quayside, the adjoining green fishing boat, the blue of the sea. A very charming view of an everyday scene in the port of Nice on the Cote d'Azur, South of France.
