A delightful early study of St Ives, Cornwall from a view over the town looking towards the sea. Rows of boats and ships line the harbour, which the artist has captured in minute detail, yet still maintaining a naive, folk art feel to the composition. Presented in a simple black frame with gilt detail. Signed to the lower left. On board.
