In this painting, I sought to capture the serene yet vibrant essence of autumn by a tranquil pond. As I layered the oil paints, my aim was to blend impressionism's soft focus with realism's detail, creating a space where viewers can feel the crisp autumn air and the quietude of nature. Elena Lukina is a prizewinning artist from Latvia whose paintings have been exhibited in solo and group shows internationally.
